Bible study day 1 - I want to gain favour of the lord. CAN YOU HEAR HIS CALLING?

Proverbs 12:2 A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
Psalm 34:16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Even in Psalms it's talks of a word being a lamp unto the feet and a light unto our path.

But so many now days have not there trust in this word and try to lean to there foolish understanding and confident they do , with no foundation except imagination , mith , reorganizations of angles of life from growing up. Fake stories and a lot of lying youtube false actors. But if they sleeked God right and went to his word. That gospel light I would think would be like a fire for everyone to strive for to obtain. This generation is different from when I used to come online and talk about the bible. They have not been trained up in the way they should go. Theres many that say there religious , but don't do things with sound doctrine they don't even know what that is probably ...by only doing the things like the bible says and not preaching things as doctrine thats not in the bible.

Even naming the Church I don't see why ....it's already got a name you know you read of a Body that you are baptized into ....Christ is the head. Body Of Christ ....that Body also is the Church , Romans 16:16

I will not go to any place without that name, I found like minds where that name is. It's the only place I have found like minds speaking pure truth.

I would think any group through study recognizing that they have done something without authority I would think they would change that and correct it as a group as they strive for God.

But no , it's the peoples Church even as they even start to call people other names that you don't even read about. Shows the devil has a part in it ...because you ask what are you ....and you hear names other than Christian.

But why is authority important

Let's look at a example of doing things wrong

I choose to just obey the gospel and go by it and being under the new testament law that means what I find to do there but also using the old testament for learning more about God. But the new testament being the law we are under not the 10 commandments. and the law in mosesses time or however i spell that.

So even in singing you would find not to use musical instruments but many will go to the old testament. We are told how God wants us to do it ...so we should just do it that way

Or there is something on your shoulders , I know the way I choose is best because it's exact

There is not better spot for the foot than the best ....any less I would find that not keeping God first with all your heart , soul , mind ,strength

In all your thoughts and acknowledged in all your ways

how else can one start to improve if they don't have there trust in God and his word.

Our freewill is not taken from us , but we can be free and willfully be able to do whatever we want. Standing worthy of judgement whether good or evil we do. Doing it clearly knowing .

Hopefully you will be doing good ,

some may say sin feels so good lead you strait to hell ....

When the day comes and everything seems fine and fear comes as it's your time . But hopefully we will be ready and that the sting of death won't be on us.

Proverbs 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

So will we turn from our ways? Our evil ways to live.

In my opinion based on lots of study and from life and trying to figure this stuff out. I think and I say I think it's part of the calling ....like God is always calling and wants everyone to turn towards him.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

If we wilfully sin and don't turn....your going to be in trouble without that sacrifice for sin.

1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

It's time to step out of the darkness if your there , one just just start going with what they know and studying to learn more.

The bible doesn't say oh hey there's missing words all over the world ....that would make it not perfect. It's all we need and them people need to quit leaning towards there own understanding and start studying and believing.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

You all have access to this same word .....I've heard of great anti christ speakers even that studied this word that spoke how they didn't believe but if they did they did they spoke well on baptism and what they would do. I'm not sure how any could read it and not believe , but we will be without excuse in the end and there's no where any can hide and it's inevitable to escape , it is what it is and you are here and time is now. You have to change , I don't know why man would be put in this world but there's a war between good and evil going on. We can't let the evil get the best of us and choke out that good thing in us.

God wants us with him and he's got a great reward for us and one this battle is over and if we have kept the faith and stand worthy of that reward ...there is no falling out of the next place. Because God cannot lie and we will be kept by powers forever. So just in knowing God cannot lie and that you can't fall out of heaven if you make it past this time in this furnace and come out pure. It's nice to know.

I hope all will go with a honest and good heart. Some may think im in the presence of so much evil they don't even want the word God to be even spoken. No matter where you are if there and sick you need to have your trust in his word ....where else are you going to start healing spiritually? God should never be left out of anyones thoughts ever not even a moment. Your whole life needs examined and filtered through that word to see if there be any spots and if so changes made and walking in that light where you get cleansed.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Do you want this fellowship? Do you want God abiding in you and Jesus?

Opportunity exist do we want to choose what is smart?

Will we grab onto what is most wise.

Psalm 69:5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
